iPad Apps

The iPad or other media tablet can be a valuable learning tool for many of the things we work on our Speech Groups. The problem is that there are so many out there, it is hard to find what you need. Below are some that I have found and really like:

1. Fun with Directions is an app that targets listening and following directions skills. https://sites.google.com/a/beaverton.k12.or.us/speech-language-sharing/apps-in-action/untitledpost

2. Record your Speech with this recording app and listen to how you sounded! http://www.topappreviews101.com/sound-recorder-with-skins-lite-ipad-app-13495.html

3. Work on many elementary concepts: https://sites.google.com/a/beaverton.k12.or.us/speech-language-sharing/apps-in-action/untitledpost-1

4. Vocalic R sounds in a fun flipbook format. AR sound is free, more sounds must be purchased. https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/articulation-flip-books/id476647631
